Phase 1: BlockDAG Development
Creating the Fastest BlockDAG with ASIC Resistance
Leveraging Kaspa's innovative blockDAG structure, Karlsen stands out as the world's fastest, open-source, decentralized, and scalable Layer-1 blockchain solution. Our technology focuses on rapid block processing, high security, and ASIC resistance, promoting greater decentralization.
BlockDAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) and GHOSTDAG (Greedy Heaviest Observed Subtree) are advanced blockchain data structures that allow multiple blocks to be added simultaneously, enhancing scalability and transaction throughput.
We initially started with kHeavyHash and blake3 modifications, resulting in the creation of KarlsenHashv1. However, recognizing that kHeavyHash and blake3 are not future-proof in terms of ASIC resistance, we have launched testnet-1 with FishHash. This marks the world's first implementation of FishHash with Golang in a 1bps blockchain.
